Hello and Welcome !!!

My name is Michelle.  I am a Landscape and Floral Artist from Sault Ste Marie, Canada and am thrilled you are here with me.  I work primarily in oil and acrylic paints and occasionally enjoy painting with watercolor, even though I find it a bit more challenging.

My process involves getting out to take photographs while exploring the beauty of Northern Ontario.  This past year, I have also taken to painting Plein Air.  It's an invigorating feeling to paint on location with the sights, sounds and smells of nature all around me.  My favorite subject is Lake Superior as I find being near the water both energizing and calming.   I also love that the The Great Lakes offer some pretty amazing sunsets, as well as an ever changing shoreline and towering trees.

The beauty that surrounds us is limitless, and being able to paint it as I view it is an absolute honor.

I invite you to browse my available artwork and if you'd like to be informed of new artwork becoming available, or future shows and events, please enter your email below.  (your information will not be sold)
